Non-Degree Postsecondary Decennial

The following four items wil be sent to you by the Commission office about six weeks prior to the evaluation on which you have agreed to serve. 

  1. Instructions for Evaluators
  2. Non-Degree Postsecondary Standards of Membership
  3. Evaluator Selection, Ethics and Responsibilities
  4. Policy on Conflict of Interest

Prior to the visit, familiarize yourself with the Commission's Non-Degree Postsecondary Accreditation Handbook, which is probably on file in the President's or Executive Director's office at your institution. The Handbook is used by the institution undergoing evaluation and by the visiting committee conducting the accreditation visit.

The visiting committee Chair will send further information, committee assignments and instructions approximately one month prior to the scheduled visit. The host institution will also be sending to you information regarding travel, lodging arrangements, etc.

Please keep in mind that your commitment to serve is very important, as it is nearly impossible to fill a vacancy in the month preceding the visit. Should you need to drop off the visiting committee, please: (1) notify the Commission office immediately at 781-541-5415.
